Jerri Wang joined Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAPP in 2024 and is Chief of Staff and Head of Portfolio Strategy and Operations for one of Flagship’s business units. Working at the intersection of strategy and operations, she drives AI capability building and company origination to help launch and scale technology companies that extend Flagship’s impact beyond biotechnology into AI, software, and devices.

Jerri brings years of experience in strategic value capture and AI solution building. Before joining Flagship, she was Expert Associate Partner in QuantumBlack, the AI arm of McKinsey, where she spent five years deploying custom-built AI solutions at top pharma companies and drove several large-scale AI transformations. She was previously a generalist strategy consultant at McKinsey, working on corporate and business unit strategies across the entire pharma value chain.

Jerri received her Ph.D. in biological chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where she worked on thioamides as minimalist fluorescent probes to study intrinsically disordered proteins. She also holds a B.Sc. in chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with Academic Achievement Award distinction.
